dress code

There is no formal dress code for the conference, but the unwritten rule is generally smart casual, like a clean, nice shirt and dress pants or khakis. Jeans are allowed but shouldn't be ripped, overly distressed, and should be paired with something less casual (dress shirt, or jacket). There will be multiple photos taken, as well as University of Alberta officials present at some of the receptions and panels so you should dress in a way that will make you comfortable, should you be in a photo or meet-and-greet situation.
